Yesterday I quickly wrote up some updates to the Course Designer and RIT SIS scripts. The RIT SIS module now has the ability to Cache all of SIS, just a discipline, and read from a cache. This has *greatly* decreased the user reteival time when creating a schedule with the Course Designer. Soon I’m going to have to make a script which maintains the cache and downloads only what is needed. Also, another future feature will be to setup mirrors of SIS, so that you won’t have to hit it as hard, which is good for everyone. Go to the Course Designer, and enjoy!
