Summer Coming To An End

Things have been going smoothly these past couple weeks. The research position is coming along quite nicely, I really enjoy the atmosphere in which I’m working. It’ll be continuing into the fall, so I have that to look forward to.

School is wrapping up here, I’ve just completed my research paper for Data Comm, and if everything goes smoothly on the final, it looks like I’ll come out with another A this summer. The Discrete final, on the other hand, should be ‘fun’ (to say the least).

Juniper Bay is now an official Limited Liability Corporation – I just got my paperwork back from the state, so it’s good to go! I got my printer up and running, it’s very nice, I just need some real paper, and then I’ll be good.

I had my meeting, yesterday, with the Director of FAST and the Assistant Vice President of Finance & Administration – they were very much interested in what I had to say. I’ll be interested to hear what happens with some of the ideas that I gave them.

Work on Flava is coming along nicely, with school wrapping up I will be able to devote some more attention to it. Also, I’m working on helping Bill with one of his projects, I’ll be writing some sort of a screen-scraping spider in order to populate a database of his.

In all, this summer has been quite fun, and I’m looking forward to CSH in the fall. I plan on doing some heavy work on the CSH website, which is in need of some major work.
