If you’ve been wondering why I’ve been incommunicado the past couple weeks, here’s why:
– jQuery 1.1.4
– jQuery 1.2
– jQuery 1.2.1
– jQuery UI
Three major releases, and one minor release, in less than a month will do that to you. If anyone has tried to email me and hasn’t gotten a response, you now know why. Please ping me again if I haven’t responded yet, I’m still working my way through the deluge.
I think this is the most non-stop programming that I’ve ever done, I plan on taking a short break to try and re-gain my bearings. I’ve got a couple un-loved side projects that I’ve been wanting to tinker with and release, so maybe I’ll get those out the door – and possibly do some more writing.
Also, in early October I’m going to be giving some talks at the Future of Web Apps conference in London. Specifically, on the Mozilla Platform and on Client-Side User Interfaces. It looks like there’s going to be a lot of fun people in attendance – I hope to see you there!

Stunning job John! I truly appreciate what you’re doing for the JS community worldwide.
Is there a chance to make the jQuery wiki/documentation multilingual? I’m going to translate the documentation to Czech and I’m looking for a suitable solution.
Thanks…

@Bohdan: Yes! We’ve been getting it set up to handle just that. Now that 1.2 and UI are out the door, we’re going to start looking at this in earnest as our users will really benefit from having the documentation in many languages. You should drop me an email and I’ll try to remember to handle Czech when I start working on the site.

i used to hate JS cos it looked so stupid, boring and unnecessarily complex but you gave it brand new look and made it fun to code, best of all being so small to include in a page. BRAVO ZULU man!! really appreciate your work and thanks a million!!!
