I’ve found my competition for the calendar program – the best one on the market (currently) goes by the name of Web Event. They have the most features, and they target Universities in particular to use their program. I’ve written up (on a white board) a list of all the features – that I can think of – to implement in this program, and there are a lot. I’m hoping to roll out Version 0.1 sometime this week – and just to spit in the face of that multi-million dollar corporation, I think I’m going to release it as Open Source.
