Apparently, the people who wanted the web site for the horse ranch really liked my portfolio and asked me to make a couple designs for them to look at (along with some cost estimates), which is what I spent most of the weekend doing. We’ll have to see how that turns out. I’m still waiting to find out if I’m going to get my research position this summer or not, because if I don’t, it looks like I might be going to San Diego to get a tech job!
Joe finally turned on SSL for my schedule maker, which should allow me to do some more cool stuff. I was able to get fractals working in my CS4 project, along with gradients (which wasn’t very hard at all). I also updated my portfolio to contain two more designs that I’ve done, the one for Special Events Network that I did over the summer, and also the design that I made for my old freelance web design site, Juniper Bay. That’s all for now, more coming soon!
