Parts of the new Amazon page design have started to creep out and I’m finding the results to be really interesting. I’m so use to the old design, it’s really going to take some getting used to.
I don’t particularlly agree with how it looks. I think it feels very clunky and they could’ve outlined the site priorities a little bit better – but they’re the marketing genius’ who get the money coming in, so who am I to complain.
Supposedly, Amazon sends around quite a few iterations of their page to small testbeds of customers (without their knowing) – I’d be curious to see what sort of changes they make and how that effects sales.
