- No limit on rgw number of revisions to show
Download

Automating Wikipedia History
This recent Jon Udell entry about Wikipedia wars mentioned a great idea, but I don’t have the time to code…

MediaWiki will display a maximum of 5,000 revisions of an article at a time. In order to retrieve, for example, all 12,800 revisions of the George W. Bush article, you will have to download the first 5,000 and then specify an offset of 5,000 in order to get the next 5,000 and so on.

It seems your AniWiki script does not work, and it looks like it could be very cool if it did .. do you plan on updating it?

Following up to #5 (InterestedUser). It seems like none of the greasemonkey scripts on WP:TOOLS work, and there doesn’t seem to be /much/ discussion of why not. I saw a reference somewhere that the latest revision of MediaWiki broke things. Can you confirm this, John? Are you maintaining the script, to upgrade to work with the new MediaWiki?
Earle Martin (February 2, 2007 at 10:19 am)
I’d like to make another request for this script to be updated to work with the latest version MediaWiki.
